The young firebrand Sizzla has been
burning up the dancehall
with his fiery delivery and critical lyrics. He has now
become the people’s
favorite in Jamaica and in the hardcore reggae
dancehall scene. Sizzla is
at the forefront of the current mash-up of hiphop
and dancehall, with no less
than Jay Z recently sampling one of his
tracks. He is a staple of
the reggae charts, with no less than three albums
on the charts at any
time.
Producer Phillip "Fatis" Burrell first introduced young Miguel Collins to the world as Sizzla. Jah Knows Best is a collaboration between these two brethren as they reach for new heights in Sizzla’s career with songs that expand on his philosophy and allow his vocal style to expand in new ways sure to excite his already strong fan base. Includes the first and only cover version Sizzla has ever recorded, a massive version of Bob Dylan’s "Subterranean Homesick Blues."
